The Day 64x64 Pointillism, 1994, Acrylic on canvas
After the completeion of "Sunrise On The Shore" Marc decided to create a seven work series called The Lakeshore Suite. The series depicts the stages of the birth of a new day at Winnetka, Illinois on Lake Michigan at Elder Lane Park. "The Day" is the culmination of the rising sun. This work took 17 months to complete. The subsequent five pieces in the series were reserved by collectors as commissioned works.
